Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has announced that the state government will set up permanent yoga centres across the region. According to the Chief Minister, these centres will be established in the Swarna Grama areas as well as in the Ward Secretariats throughout Andhra Pradesh.
The announcement was made during a special Yoga Day event held in Vijayawada. The Chief Minister was joined at the event by the well-known yoga guru, Baba Ramdev. Both leaders participated in the program to mark the occasion and promote the practice of yoga among the people.
During the event, CM Naidu spoke about the international importance of yoga. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts in making yoga famous on a global scale. The Chief Minister stated that it was because of the Prime Minister’s work that yoga has received such significant recognition from the international community.
By establishing these permanent facilities in Swarna Gramas and Ward Secretariats, the Andhra Pradesh government aims to make yoga more accessible to the public. These centres are expected to provide a dedicated space for citizens to practice yoga regularly within their local communities.
